We started this “We Can You Can” journey in hopes to inspire and encourage others that well, if we could do this, then they certainly could too. If my husband and I, a normal couple just like everyone else with faults and flaws, excuses and obstacles could change our lives for the better, then so could anyone else.
But what if WE can’t?
I found myself asking just this as I sat discouraged and overwhelmed by nothing more than just life itself.
What if we really can’t do this?
I imagine that the vast majority of people and families feel the same way. Nothing seems simple in life anymore. Decisions to change more often than not seem to be met with overwhelming opposition, turning valiant efforts into good intentions, which later turn to disappointments and discouragements.
So what happens if WE can’t do this? What if we fail on this journey? What if in a year I look back and nothing has changed? Or what if I look back and things are worse?
“What if I can’t do this,” I whispered. But then HE said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
So be encouraged today if you’re having the same thoughts. You’re not alone in your journey. There is grace. We CAN do this. And YOU CAN do this.
